Mark York was the original chef at Bar Wizard in Littleborough and has spent most of his career working in Fine Dine restaurants picking up some prestigious awards along the way.

He was Manchester Young Chef of the Year, regional winner of Young Chef, Young Waiter twice and appeared in the Roux Brother Scholarship final at the age of 19.

​

He was a World Skills finalist and received awards from the Master Chefs of Great Britain.  He also achieved one of the most prestigious awards in the culinary world - The Academy of Culinary Arts annual award of excellence.

Mark will be changing the menu regularly to reflect the seasons and the availability of local produce..
